Today, I will get a chance to train with amazing coaches and good players. I hydrated well last night so that it isn't a repeat of Monday, since it will get up to the 80s today.
I have an obligation to my parents, coaches, and my future self to fully apply myself to everything that I do. I may not play my best today since I haven't played very much since my tournament, but that does not change my focus or effort.
I will focus only on enjoying the process of getting better and not how I am hitting. I realize that while I may play well some days and poorly on others, I am fully in control if I am practicing what my coaches want.
My coaching voice will remind me that I can stay calm from losing, because it is a stepping stone to becoming strong, better, and tougher. My body language will show that I am hungry to improve, regardless of results. Regardless of how I think, I will create this presence and my thinking will follow. I am learning to love problems, to thrive on tough times. I am learning to become a great fighter.
