Today, I will get the opportunity to train with amazing coaches and players. I want to work on my reactions to situations today. Yesterday, when I was missing balls with the right intentions, I got discouraged. Actually, I should be happy that I am doing what I have been trying to work on and be even more ready to continue doing it.

I have an obligation to my parents, my coaches, and my future self to put my best effort into learning to love the process. It is crucial that when I am not playing well, but putting my best effort to solving why and playing the way I am supposed to, I will take a moment to recognize it and encourage myself. I will keep positive body language and feel excited that I am doing what I need to. I don't need to win all the time, but I need to always give my best effort to improve.

My coaching voice will remind me that I am not in control of situations, but completely in control of the way I respond to them. I will be excited when problems come my way because they are opportunities to work on dealing with things I am uncomfortable with. Today, I will be a great problem-solver.
